It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Greg Nicks, a cherished member of our SCSD Board of Education. Mr. Nicks was not just a member of our school board; he was a dedicated advocate for the success and well-being of all students and staff members within our district. His commitment to our educational community was unwavering, and his passion for ensuring every student had the opportunity to succeed was truly inspiring.
Throughout Mr. Nicks' tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, always prioritizing the needs of our students and striving to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all. Mr. Nicks consistently attended school events throughout the school year and his contributions have left an indelible mark on our district...he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we mourn the loss of Mr. Nicks, let us also take a moment to reflect on the profound impact he had on our schools and the lives of countless students and staff members.
Mr. Nicks' funeral services will be held on June 4 at Little Rock MB Church in Forest beginning at 11:00 AM.
