NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
The Scott County School District will hold a public hearing on the school district’s 2022-
2023 budget which includes the Special Education and Federal Programs budget on
August 9, 2022 at 8:30 AM. in the School Board Room, Courthouse Annex, 110
Commerce Loop, Forest, Mississippi. In addition, The Children’s Internet Protection
Act (CIPA) will be discussed.

The purpose of this hearing is to give the citizens of this school district an opportunity to
comment on the expenditure and taxing plans of the district. The hearing is being
conducted in compliance with the law as enacted by the 1986 and 1987 Legislative
Sessions.
